Recruitment CRM · Built and hosted in Australia

A recruitment CRM you can actually work in.

Most CRMs are built to be demoed. Hound is built to be lived in — eight hours a day, on the phone, with forty roles open. Far more of your desk on screen, any record in one keystroke, and a CV that files itself.

Free for two recruiters and your first 50 contacts — candidates, clients and companies combined. No card, no countdown.

The reels

Four things you’ll do a hundred times a day.

Each one plays itself through, start to finish. Stop it whenever you like and drive it yourself — these are the real controls, not a picture of them.

The rest of it

One system, from first call to paid invoice.

Not a CRM that hands you off to three other tools the moment a candidate says yes. The first three below are the ones an agency normally pays for somewhere else.

Commission

Commission, worked out per consultant

Each consultant has their own rate and monthly minimum, set for that financial year — so last year’s figures don’t move when this year’s terms change. Every month shows what was invoiced, what it earned, and the placements behind the number.

Usually a paid add-on
Your team

Leave, in the hours it’s contracted in

Annual, personal and carer’s, long service and the unpaid types. The balance is worked out from the requests themselves rather than stored, so it can’t drift — and nobody books time they haven’t got.

Usually a separate HR system
Your team

Messaging, where the records are

One-to-one and group conversations inside the CRM, so a question about a candidate gets asked where the candidate is. Archive a thread and it goes quiet for you and nobody else.

Usually a separate subscription
Records

Candidates, clients, companies, jobs

Four record types that know about each other. A company’s contacts, its live roles and every note anyone has left, on one page.

Sourcing

Tearsheets and shortlists

Build a list off any search, work it as a group, and send the whole shortlist to a client in one email.

Email

Outlook, synced both ways

Mail you send and receive is logged against the right record on its own, so the history is there without anyone maintaining it.

Money

Placements, invoices, agreements

Terms of business signed online, invoices raised off the placement, margins tracked per consultant.

Reporting

Numbers you’d actually put in a board pack

Submissions, interviews, fills and revenue by consultant and by month — read off the same rows the desk works, so it can’t disagree with itself.

Control

Roles, teams and permissions

Consultants see their desk, managers see the team, and the financials stay where they belong.

Integrations

What it plugs into.

Two connections, each doing one job properly, rather than a directory of two hundred logos that mostly open a support ticket.

Microsoft 365 · Outlook

Email

Connected per consultant, not per agency. Mail you send leaves from your own address, and mail that arrives is filed against the right candidate, client or company without anyone doing it. An admin can switch sent-logging and received-logging off for any individual.

AI assistant

Reading & drafting

Reads a CV and fills the candidate record, reformats a CV onto your own letterhead, and answers questions about whatever record is in front of you. This is the engine behind the CV demo above.

What counts, and what happens at 50?

A contact is any record you have added — one candidate, one client or one company each count as one, and the fifty is the three of them added together. When you reach it nothing is locked, hidden, watermarked or deleted: every record stays where it is, everyone on the account keeps working, and every export still works. The only thing that needs a plan is the fifty-first.

Switching

Changing CRM is the reason people stay on a bad one.

So you do it yourself, without booking anything or waiting on anyone. Three steps — and your desk keeps billing through all of them.

STEP 01

Export what you already have

Whatever your current system gives you: a CSV out of Bullhorn or JobAdder, or the spreadsheet somebody has been keeping instead. Candidates, clients and companies each go in as their own file.

STEP 02

Map the columns to your own fields

Hound reads your headings and guesses — Cell, Contact Number and Phone (mobile) all find Mobile. Under each one it shows what that column holds in your first row, and it lists every column nothing is taking, so nothing goes missing quietly. Fields you have added yourself are offered like any other.

STEP 03

Import, and keep the mapping

Save it under a name and next month’s file is two clicks. Run the old system alongside for as long as you want to — and if you would rather we did the first one for you, ask us. You just don’t have to.

The free plan needs no call, no card and nobody’s permission — so this page is for the things signing up doesn’t answer.

Ask us anything

Before you sign up

Several brands or offices under one login, single sign-on, moving your data across, or anything on this page you want to see properly before you commit to it. Say which it is and you’ll get an answer from somebody who has read it.
